Recruitment & Interviewing

Extensive hands-on skills practice

In summary

This program normally runs over two days, the second day involving extensive hands-on skills practice to reinforce the learning of the first day. It is possible to condense it into one day, but this inevitably limits the practical component, so two days are highly recommended.

Recruitment & Interviewing

What is it about?

The workshop explains in detail what to consider when designing advertisements and recruitment criteria, and deciding what to ask at interview. It is possible to face a discrimination claim, even before you have decided which candidate to appoint, if the recruitment process or interview was discriminatory (even unintentionally so). This can leave an organisation facing a substantial damages award, and with a tarnished reputation. Delegates will learn to think carefully about what to ask, and, equally important, what not to!
